Here is where we will be adding pictures of our past puppies and references from our puppy buyers!

Working with Alisha from High Desert Great Danes has been a very positive experience, one that I would gladly repeat.  We brought home Bishop in March of 2011.  In the few months that Bishop has been home Alisha has been very willing to answer any questions that have come up. Bishop gets along wonderfully with my other two dogs and with my small nephews and niece. He has a sweat personality and if I were to ever get another Great Dane it would have to be one of Alisha's puppies.

Hi Alisha,

Happy easter.  I thought I'd share a few photos of our little boy with you and hope they help.

A couple of interesting personality traits :

. he likes to lean into people for attention.

. he caught a squirrel the other day, but doesn't have a natural instinct to shake it and so ran around with a live squirrel in his mouth for about 5 minutes and it finally escaped...  he tried washing it in our lake, weirdest thing.  He didn't harn the squirrell although it did bit him on the nose.

. he LOVEs to run, will keep up with me on the ATV at 25mph... he is very very fast and super agile.  We go out most days.

. he LOVE people, where-ever people are thats where Ned will be... if I have workman here through the day he will go an hang-out with them while I'm at work..

. he is a grazer, not motivated a lot by food.

. he is motivated by playing pull though... its his favorite game.

He is about 170lbs and if I could keep the weight on him he would get to about 180-190lbs... he just exercises so much that he doesn't put any more weight on...

He is very strong, luckily I'm 230lbs so have it on him, but he can get some weight behind him when playing tug.

He loves to chase the cattle, watched him round up the calves.  He pull one of the smaller cows to the ground a few months back when she was going the wrong way... funny (and scary) all at the same time.  He didn't hurt her in the slightest, he is so agile.
